I don't know..but it doesn't surprise me because I've seen this debate before... a black on white crime,obviously a 'hate crime', but not classified as such because many people don't consider a minority attacking a non-minority to be a hate crime..
Is it (this particular instance) that or is it simply a case of schoolkids fucking around with each other? Sometimes I think people read too much into an incident. In this case this kid's parents
probably helped embellish the story, which was further embellished by Duke. Did the black kids really say "whitey" or is that what the mother said? Furthermore, nowhere does it actually say the "attackers" were black, nor that they attended the same school as Coon.
