Unfortunately, I had the car radio tuned in to 104.1 today when this asswipes show started with an audio clip of the President being "heckled" at a speech in Miami last night. In his usual snickering style, he failed to explain why the President was heckled (at least up to the thirty seconds later after I switched to the fabulous 105.9).

So, I come home and check why this horrible thing happened:

Quote
President Obama is interrupted at a fundraiser in Miami with a man (or group) yelling: "Keep your promise, stop AIDS now!"

Of course, he didn't mention this either:

Quote
The heckler was drowned out by the audience with "Obama! Obama! Obama!"

Two points:

a. The reason the President can't do enough to "stop AIDS now" is the lack of cooperation from Republicans and Blue Dog Democrats.

b. Don't y'all think Buckethead's like the radio version of Sam?

Buckethead is a pompous ass, which is a shame because I really like Oddo. I listen to Adam Corolla podcasts from 11-3 or if I am on the road, I listen to Jim Rome. In the beginning it was weird because, my dial never left 104.1 for about 10 years straight.

Buckethead is a pompous ass,

It's the smarminess. He starts off like he supports something and in his own assholish way we know better. That's why I compared him to The Guardian.

Me too...actually more like 14 years now...but not anymore. I wonder when 104.1 will realize the listeners are leaving?

105.9 is my choice for most mornings and until the Phile comes on.

btw - I just heard at the end of the Monsters that there's a new show (News-wise) from 5am to 6am. With someone named Shawn. How's that for a slap in the face of Melissa Fox? None...she's happy as hell now to be away from there.
