Title: search link by surf cannon Post by: ekg on May 23, 2012, 08:59:48 am yesterday I started noticing on the board, odd words that were underlined.. and when you passed your mouse over them.. it would say "search link surf cannon"..if you clicked it, it would take you to search of the word...
is this on Chrome? Or something you upgraded the board with? Cuz it's pretty awesome.. LOL. I'm thoroughly enjoying Chrome on the daughter's laptop and am in the process of deciding if I want to lose Mozilla on my comp when I get it back today and go with Chrome.. The only thing I don't have with Chrome (as far as I know) is Zemantha (blog ware).. and if it's as good as mozilla's plug-in, I may switch..(oh the suck of transferring the bookmarks tho-ugh!) anywho.. i was just wondering if this new Kindle-like word-define was a new board plug in or if the kid downloaded something on her own.. ;) Title: Re: search link by surf cannon Post by: Howey on May 23, 2012, 10:00:40 am I don't see it on mine using Firefox.

I accidentally downloaded something the other day that screwed up my searching directly from the browser window with Amazon Suggestions. Instead of taking me to Google it takes me to a specific site on the topic. Had to fix that. Because I was only aware of the top of the page FB option. Also, was the upgrade to a dot com an auto promotion from the original SMT forum or whatever cause if so it must be based on traffic.
