Title: Obama's offer about Mitts tax return. Post by: 44nutman on August 17, 2012, 11:02:01 pm http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/obama-romney-release-five-years-tax-returns-ll-131726417.html
Obama campaign manager Jim Messina pressed his case in a publicly released letter to his counterpart on Team Romney, Matt Rhoades. Messina said that the request for the tax returns covering 2007-2012 was "surely not unreasonable" but acknowledged the Republican candidate's concerns that more disclosures will merely lead to more requests for disclosure from Team Obama. "So I am prepared to provide assurances on just that point: if the Governor will release five years of returns, I commit in turn that we will not criticize him for not releasing more--neither in ads nor in other public communications or commentary for the rest of the campaign," Messina wrote (http://www.motifake.com/image/demotivational-poster/0808/its-a-trap-akbar-sega-star-wars-vector-trap-demotivational-poster-1219458713.jpg) Here is what happened Mitt took adavantage of the IRS offshore amnesty deal. He can't let that shit get out, since it would mean he fessed up to committing fraud. that's a possibility..a good one.. but I can't imaging him voluntarily paying all the back taxes and penalties.. he's be better off to just leave the money overseas.. I'll say this tho.. whatever it is he's done, it's a hell of alot worse than the heat he's taking for not releasing them. |
