Title: Believe It Or Not!
Post by: Howey on September 11, 2012, 12:01:38 pm
I'm sure they heard it (http://www.motherjones.com/mojo/2012/09/ohio-republicans-poll-romney-bin-laden) on FOX News...

Quote
In what some (one guy on Twitter) have called "a stroke of comic genius," Public Policy Polling decided to ask Ohio Republicans who they thought "deserved more credit for the killing of Osama bin Laden: Barack Obama or Mitt Romney. In what some (my colleague Tim Murphy) have called "the greatest thing ever," a full 15 percent of Ohio Republicans surveyed said Romney deserved more credit than the president. Another 47 percent said they were "unsure."

Is there any more reason to think Republicans are brain dead?

I guess brain dead could work in conjunction with being programmed.  I always find it funny when they point those little ideological robotic fingers at anyone else who hasn't been assimilated, when something like this pops on the scene.  It seems that 47 percent think they're a little more sophisticated in their programming to at least just answer "unsure."  I guess they think they're clever and an "unsure" answer will somehow camouflage their borg programming to the non-assimilated...but it shows just as glaringly as the 15 percent who didn't hesitate to answer Romney.

Modern conservatism is now equivalent to knownothingism.  They revel in their ignorance.  It's like Bush bragging he didn't read newspapers or Palin bragging she read all of them.

I think about 35% of this religious freak anti-choice country would vote Pub if they literally ran a pile of cold shit even though it was brown.  I've heard noting about predictions for the potential slant of the House and Senate?

the senate could go GOP easily.. the house could stay.. and Romney could win..

these are all plausible scenarios... that scare the shit out of me.. I remember when Bush had both houses and the fucking we got from it... expect it 10times harder and 100% less lube if the worst case happens..

on the bright side.. maybe the world will end on 12/21/12
