Post by: Howey on September 08, 2013, 06:05:10 pm (http://i.imgur.com/3oTCPF5.jpg) Funny stuff...I was wondering this morning how all the cries of the right and left demanding "WHY DON'T WE TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN PEOPLE!!!" in their opposition to a strike on Syria will affect how this country runs after this crisis is over, whatever will happen. Then I found the cartoon above. Am I to assume that after nothing's done to Syria for gassing innocent children, men and women, come Monday when Congress comes back to work we're going to see these same liberals and conservatives who banded together to destroy this country's world image band together to, you know... Restore food stamps to the poor? Restore unemployment to the unemployed? Dump the stupid sequester? Improve Obamacare? Pass the president's stimulus proposals? Get rid of the debt ceiling? Hell...pass a fucking budget?? Don't bet on it... |
