Post by: Howey on October 11, 2013, 12:38:02 pm
The one that skewered the Republicans so bad?

Here it is:

http://msnbcmedia.msn.com/i/MSNBC/Sections/A_Politics/_Today_Stories_Teases/Oct_poll.pdf

Two things to point out:

Interviews: 800 Adults, including 240 cell phone only respondent

In a breakdown of employers, the following question was asked:
Quote
QF5 Do you or an immediate family member living with
you work for the federal government or a state or local
government? (IF YES, SPECIFY, ACCEPT ALL THAT APPLY)

Total Yes 20

Yes, federal ................ 9

Yes, state .................. 8

Yes, local.................... 5

No .............................. 79

Not sure.................... 1

Please note: all results are shown as percentages unless otherwise stated.

Now the righties are whining because a whole 20% of those questioned had someone in their family working for the government while only 8% of Americans are federal workers.

More Republican math. The actual number of government employees nationwide is 17%.
