And if he did go and say something positive towards the homosexuals who are enduring beatings and imprisonment...he would have been blasted by the same people. It's a no win scenario...because he can't go and NOT say something. I personally would have liked to see him go, for the visual of our President supporting our athletes and the games...BUT...I understand (and I'm sure many of the athletes involved do as well) why he decided to protest in this manner. I pointed out that he was inspecting the damage in California and that if he'd flown to Russia and wasted all those taxpayers dollars and ignoring California they'd be hitching about THAT!
