People elsewhere will read a post based on a blog by some libertarian chick about some "Skepchick" supposedly crying ASSAULT! after some old man asked her out on an elevator. Without digging any deeper, the ill-informed and ignorant would say "That bitch is an idiot!" But what's the real story? As pointed out in the Gawker article the libertarian links to, the incident occurred at 4am after the two had left the bar in the hotel. The purported accoster didn't ask the Skepchick "out for a date". He asked her to come to his hotel room at 4am for a "drink". Alone in an elevator. That's how some people skewer the facts in order to perpetuate a lie. If the poor girl had been raped by this 70 year man, the same idiots would have propably said she was dressed inappropriately and deserved it. :-\ Title: Re: Why lilMike Won't Post Here...
