Title: Who Put Pubic Hair on My Pizza? Post by: Howey on October 31, 2011, 10:24:35 am Seems like Uncle Herman, much like that other black conservative, Uncle Clarence, is involved in a previous sexual harrasment case (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1011/67194.html).
Quote During Herman Cain’s tenure as the head of the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s, at least two female employees complained to colleagues and senior association officials about inappropriate behavior by Cain, ultimately leaving their jobs at the trade group, multiple sources confirm to POLITICO. The women complained of sexually suggestive behavior by Cain that made them angry and uncomfortable, the sources said, and they signed agreements with the restaurant group that gave them financial payouts to leave the association. The agreements also included language that bars the women from talking about their departures. Oh, Uncle Herman! Why can't you just deny (http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1011/67211.html) the charge? Quote Herman Cain spokesman J.D. Gordon made an early attempt on Fox News last night to respond to POLITICO's story describing past allegations against Cain of inappropriate behavior toward female employees. It didn't go so well, and ended with Fox host Geraldo Rivera warning Gordon that his refusal to say categorically whether women had been given financial settlements in response to complaints about Cain was a "recipe for disaster." I'm sure Herman will soon claim, like Thomas, that this is merely another "high-tech lynching for uppity blacks". Oops. Nevahmind! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRzk4T_As8U Title: Re: Who Put Pubic Hair on My Pizza? Post by: FooFa on October 31, 2011, 02:46:54 pm Love it. I still have trouble realizing that at one time Coulter was a solid, constitutional scholar who made sense until the shiny lights got her. Isn't it funny how the Cain's of the world play the race card from both sides. Title: Re: Who Put Pubic Hair on My Pizza? Post by: Howey on October 31, 2011, 05:35:59 pm In less than one day, Uncle Herman denies any involvement, then says he doesn't remember any suit, then finally admits there was a sexual harrassment suit but won't disclose how much he paid to shut the women up.

Post by: uselesslegs on November 01, 2011, 02:26:50 pm While well spoken, as usual, ole Ann was trying so, so, so hard to avoid the fact that while more liberal elements in the media may be running with this...Obama had/has nothing to fear from Herman. His numbers may be really up, but he's no real threat. If anything, Obama would love nothing more than Herman to win the Nomination, hell...Perry as well. He knows, and so does anyone with a half a brain, that he would eat both of them for lunch during debates and town halls.
Right now Herman, Perry, Romney, Bachmann, Paul, Santorum are the greatest allies Obama could have to retain his seat as President. He wants any of them out front for as long as possible. Rove, the Koch's and other beltway insiders can't stand that these people are representatives of the Party and they would love nothing better than them to fade away as the face of the GOP. Politico may have broken the story, but I'll bet you my meager funds that it didn't come from a liberal tip off. Title: Re: Who Put Pubic Hair on My Pizza? He knows, and so does anyone with a half a brain, that he would eat both of them for lunch during debates and town halls. Absolutely. I guess we now know who leaked (http://www.forbes.com/sites/richardminiter/2011/11/02/herman-cain-sexual-harassment-leak/) the claim. Wasn't the evil dems! Quote Was the recent attack on Herman Cain’s presidential campaign a professional hit job? Absolutely, says Herman Cain. And he says he knows just where to look for the guy who did it: At 815 Slaters Lane in Alexandria, Virginia, a low-slung former warehouse in the shadow of a coal plant. There, beside rusting rail lines, is the home of OnMessage Inc., a Republican-leaning consulting firm recently hired to bolster Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s presidential campaign. One of the firm’s partners, Curt Anderson, worked on Cain’s losing 2004 U.S. Senate campaign. Cain thinks he’s the hired political gun who leaked details to Politico, a Washington trade publication, of alleged “sexually suggestive behavior” Cain is said to have exhibited towards two women while he ran the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s. That story set off a media frenzy which has quickly put Cain’s campaign on the defense. And look! Another accusation! (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/11/02/herman-cain-sexual-harassment_n_1072275.html) Quote Herman Cain is being accused of sexual harassment by a third former employee. The ex-staffer, a woman who worked for Cain at the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s, told the Associated Press that GOP candidate displayed aggressive and unsolicited behavior, including suggestive remarks and inappropriate gestures. She claimed that he even invited her back to his apartment. Cain's campaign declined to comment to the AP. Earlier this week, Politico reported that the GOP candidate was accused of sexual harassment by two different women. The women, both former NRA employees, reportedly received large settlement packages aftey they filed formal workplace complaints. The third woman told the AP that she considered filing a complaint, but did not. Chris Wilson, a former NRA staffer, told Oklahoma radio station KTOK that he witnessed Cain sexually harassing a woman at Virginia restaurant in the late 90s. Wilson said that while he could not discuss specifics of what happened, "If she talks about it, I think it'll be the end of his campaign." Wilson confirmed the incident to Politico. "It was very uncomfortable," he said. Title: Re: Who Put Pubic Hair on My Pizza? Post by: Howey on November 04, 2011, 07:10:43 pm Now we know why his campaign [bought all those copies of his book (illegally)!
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/11/04/herman-cain-accuser-statement_n_1076850.html Quote A lawyer for a woman who accused Herman Cain of sexual harassment while both worked at the National Restaurant Association says she complained about a "series of inappropriate behaviors" in good faith and accepted a financial agreement. Joel Bennett told reporters that his client stands by the complaint she made a decade ago even though Cain has said the allegations were baseless. Bennett says his client disagrees with the statements Cain has made. He wouldn't say how much money she received. Bennett says the woman doesn't want to divulge specifics of the behavior or her identity. He says his client sees no value in revisiting the complaint from 1999. The National Restaurant Association confirmed there was an agreement with the woman. Statement from the National Restaurant Association: "We have seen the statement Joel Bennett released earlier today on behalf of his client, a former employee of the Association. The Association consented to the release of that statement, at the request of Mr. Bennett's client. Sooooooo....How much money did they pay her this time? Title: Re: Who Put Pubic Hair on My Pizza? Post by: FooFa on November 04, 2011, 10:38:13 pm Quote Joel Bennett told reporters that his client stands by the complaint she made a decade ago even though Cain has said the allegations were baseless. I'd like to hear him say that. I don't of know of anyone that I've ever heard speak who can not only contradict themselves within one statement but make evident that their outlook is completely shrouded with ultimate insider experience with a dollop of basic historical ignorance. |
