If you had a brilliant scientist whose talent would help people survive on Mars and he or she happened to be gay, you'd take them there. It's not as if gay people can't reproduce. There this neat thing called artificial insemination. It works pretty well. Chances are that if you could only take 40 people to Mars in such a situation, and indeed if we were capable of even getting people there, the problem of reproduction would be solved beforehand, regardless of who was involved. I mean come on, chances are that the most qualified people to go would not even be married or even romantically involved. Would it be required of those people to have sex to procreate? Probably not. |
