According to his own people...

President Trump’s internal polling data from March showed him far behind Joe Biden in key battleground states

Data from President Donald Trump's first internal reelection campaign poll conducted in March, obtained exclusively by ABC News, showed him losing a matchup by wide margins to former Vice President Joe Biden in key battleground states.

Trump has repeatedly denied that such data exists.

The polling data, revealed for the first time by ABC News, showed a double-digit lead for Biden in Pennsylvania 55-39 and Wisconsin 51-41 and had Biden leading by seven points in Florida. In Texas, a Republican stronghold, the numbers showed the president only leading by two points.

I find it interesting that the government won't even tell the president why they conduct covert operations such as this. Are they concerned he's going to go running to Putin?

WASHINGTON — The United States is stepping up digital incursions into Russia’s electric power grid in a warning to President Vladimir V. Putin and a demonstration of how the Trump administration is using new authorities to deploy cybertools more aggressively, current and former government officials said.

In interviews over the past three months, the officials described the previously unreported deployment of American computer code inside Russia’s grid and other targets as a classified companion to more publicly discussed action directed at Moscow’s disinformation and hacking units around the 2018 midterm elections...

Two administration officials said they believed Mr. Trump had not been briefed in any detail about the steps to place “implants” — software code that can be used for surveillance or attack — inside the Russian grid.

Pentagon and intelligence officials described broad hesitation to go into detail with Mr. Trump about operations against Russia for concern over his reaction — and the possibility that he might countermand it or discuss it with foreign officials, as he did in 2017 when he mentioned a sensitive operation in Syria to the Russian foreign minister.

The EU, especially Germany, has made great #trides. That’s why Merkel is now considered the leader of the free world.

23  LGBT Issues / The Rainbow Room / Saying "I Am Gay" Will Get Kids Kicked Out of Publicly Funded Fl Schools on: June 16, 2019, 03:15:30 pm
Note, these are schools that receive federal funding to pay their owners/administrators millions of dollars a year to operate in a completely non-transparent manner.

Not one cent should be given to them.

Florida governor, legislators back state funding for private, anti-LGBT schools | Commentary

During pride month, Florida politicians love talking about their passion for equality.
They’re much less eager to talk about the anti-equality programs they fund the rest of the year — specifically millions of public dollars they send to schools that discriminate against LGBT families and even expel students who say they’re gay.

Many Floridians aren’t aware they fund such a system. And guys like Gov. Ron DeSantis and House Speaker Jose Oliva don’t like to talk about it.
But you should know it’s out there. Because it’s blatant.

At one of Florida’s approved voucher schools in Brevard County, for example, being gay is actually the only expellable offense listed in the school’s “ethics” policy.
Lying, cheating and destruction of school property are also bad, according to the Merritt Island Christian School student handbook — but only to the extent that they’re listed as “Class II infractions” worthy of punishments like a five-day suspension.

Being gay or transgender is grounds for expulsion — and for denial of admission to this school that received more than $700,000 in public funds last year to educate more than 140 students on state “scholarships.”

At Trinity Christian Academy in Volusia County, the school provides a list of sentences students are not allowed to utter. “I am gay” is one of them.
24  Politikal / The Environment / Renewable Energy Capacity Overtakes Coal For the First Time Ever on: June 16, 2019, 03:10:30 pm
It's not much but great news. Coal is a thing of the past and a killer.

America's renewable energy capacity overtakes coal for the first time

America's renewable energy capacity has overtaken coal for the first time ever. According to a report by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the addition of new solar, wind and hydro capacity in the first four months of the year pushed renewable energy's share of total available installed capacity to 21.56%. Coal's share, meanwhile, has dropped to 21.55 percent, down from 23.04 percent last year.

While these figures represent a very marginal difference, additional findings from FERC suggest that the gap is likely to widen in the coming months. The report notes that the US has been adding, on average, one percentage point to its renewable energy capacity every year, and predicts that by 2022 the technology will account for nearly a quarter of America's total available installed generating capacity. Meanwhile, the nation's appetite for coal continues to decline, with consumption dropping 39 percent from its peak in 2008, to its lowest level in 40 years.
