A time of the year to be thankful for all we have...

and to spend six hours Thanksgiving Eve making hors d'oevres and lasagna for ten people (recipes and pics coming), get snockered on Manischevitz Blackberry wine...

pass out...

and get up at 8am Thanksgiving day to cook a 23lb turkey, a 15 lb Turducken and all the fixins for the same bunch of low lifes plus a few more.

Anyone got a gun???

This will be my best t-day yet.

see, we did ours last Saturday since my brother is going to Dallas for the Dallas V Miami game..

hubby is hunting, oldest kid already moved out and is going to my in-laws to eat, youngest kid is going to her boyfriends to eat.. so I will be all alone in a quiet, yet cold house eating a fried bologna sandwich and maybe some salt and vinegar chips to boot Grin Grin Grin

aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh to be single and childless for a day.. priceless

Looks good! Smiley I've still never had a turdunken

I have some leftover baked brie from when we did it on Saturday.. but I froze it because there was no way the rest of it was going to be eaten anytime soon.. can you do that? I figured it was going to go to waste either way, so why not try and freeze it and see.. but I don't really want to be the guinea pig to see if it's still good HA!
