penner was my guy.. I love Denise.. I hate that Abi forced a run off between Penner and Denise.. I would have hated whoever lost... but Penner? Damnit! We might see Denise again as an all-star, we'll never see Penner again..  and for Abi to stay longer than both? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr But now that it's down so to so few... they'll do the idiot thing and keep her around until the end to help whoever win the million at the last tribal... I hate to see her kind 'win' by outlasting her betters..not by getting the million, that won't happen.. but for outlasting the other 'good' people.. |

SPOILERS... congrats Nutty! I am happy with Denise winning.. I really would have been pissed to see it go to Lisa or Skupin.. I truly wanted to see a match up b/t Denise and Malcolm.. because I didn't know who would win.. turns out, she still would have.. and I'm good with that. I thought her and Malcolm were so close to being a tie even tho she did have some advantages. ironically those, imo, were her height and age..She shouldn't have been able to, but she competed head tp head with Penner,Pete,Malcolm,Skupin,Carter..much younger men,much taller and stronger men.. and she was never 'blown out' by them, she was always right there next to them,challenge after challenge.. add that in with her being the only one to go to and survive without her name ever being written, every single tribal council there was.. and she had a leg up on Malcolm 'story'.. Penner had the best 'Q&A', altho I don't know what he meant when he said "“You shared with me once that the one thing you were afraid of being seen as was a bitch. You can rest assured that you have now shown the world that side.” I never thought she was a bitch. She came off pretty honest even when she told Malcolm she was gunning for him(as he was her) or whenever she tried to explain to Abi that she just didn't like her.. she never said it in a bitchy 'I don't like you' way.. she said it in an adult "I would just prefer not to be around you' way.. So I have no idea what he meant.. all in all, it was a great season.. and next season in Fans V Favs... the 'hint' Probst gave was that the 'Fav's' have only played once before... so no Russell,Parvarti, or Colby and Ozzy.. It'll be interesting to see who they are.. |
