From Hal Boedecker: “American Idol” will receive most of the attention tonight, and rightly so: The Top 13 are performing.
But if you’ve enjoyed “Survivor” through the years, I’d urge you to watch tonight’s episode. Both programs start at 8.
I wasn’t happy to see Russell and Boston Rob back on “Survivor” this season, but there are classic moments in tonight’s episode. And viewers can judge how this season’s twist — ejected players duel on “Redemption Island” — is working out.
It works out splendidly tonight.
The casting of chatty Phillip is another bonus. The show labels him “former federal agent?” because he is just so bizarre. There’s a lot of Boston Rob, too, and he seems to be enjoying himself.  I fucking love that man! I swear to God, he is the best player ever! even in weeping defeat, he fucks the people who fucked him. Is there anyone better? nope. you have to give the man his props, his 3rd time out.. and this is the 1st time he's been voted off and his tribe tanked an immunity and reward challenge to do it.. in that one decision, they let him outwit,out-think, and outplay them.. Long Live Russell! I am wholly with the other tribe now.. with the exception of my dark and light haired pixies.. I can't wait to watch Rob eat that team for dinner.. I loathe Rob and wait for the moment when Matt beats him on RI, but until then I am happy to watch Rob devour Zapatera piece by piece. The moment I most await, is when idiot Juile, who's probable steroid abuse as made her eyes shrink to close together, learns that she has been and always will be the 5th wheel that is only good for a vote, but not good enough to take any farther than 5th..easily jettisoned 1st when the core group must be saved..... oooo so sorry my dear, you should have made that bold move into 3rd place with Russell.. but alas, you were too much of star-seeking fucking idiot .. |

I am rooting for Secret Agent Man. That dude is pure comedy gold. Rob has his tribe on lockdown and come merge if he has enough players he will dismantle the other tribe.

I said the same thing last night... "damn, he looks better each week" Jeff had a good blog about it. Especially about the "Survivor Family" thing, because in a small way I'm a part of that now too with my few minor friendships with Sugar, Stephen and JT. Hah, even Richard Hatch sent a friend request to me on FB. Sugar absolutely hates Russell but he called her the other night! I'll miss Russell in a way. Wonder if he'll show up at the reunion? As far as Grant, Johnny was in the living room watch Tuesday's Glee for the fourth or fifth time (mo!) and hollered at me to quit shouting out "Oh, Daddy!" from the other room. |
