A bunch of schmucks.

I almost pulled a Mickey yesterday.

What do we need to do to bring some life to this dead horse?

I know... and I'm sorry.

I'm in the middle of buying a house.. or was, we finally got it last week... it's my g/parents old house.

and now I have to start renovating and have everything done by June.. so I've been horrendously busy/preoccupied.

even MOTM yellow board had it's 'dead times.. so don't pull any plugs just yet.. Smiley

Good for you!  Why the deadline on the renovation?  The only plug King Howey needs to pull is the one on his life support.

Thanks... I'm pretty happy about it.. I'm paying back my mom(she used her inheritance money to pay off her sisters), which is kinda scaey because the whole "never loan money to family" stuff.... but it'll be paid in full in about 7 years .. and  that's really pretty awesome..

RE: renovations...I should have been more specific..

the house needs a lot of updating.. after my g/mother got sick in 2000, they stopped 'improving' the home to save money in case they needed 'home' care since neither was going to be going into a 'home'..  It's livable with just ripping out the old carpet and a some new paint, but I'd like to re-do a cpl other things before moving in and then we can get the rest done as we go..

the deadline is that's when I have to start making my payments back and I still have 'rent' where I'm at now and can't afford to pay both.. so I need to get the carpet up/tile down. Bathroom shower extended/re-tiled. Kitchen re-worked with new countertops and cabinets and some painting..plus a lot of furniture re-furbing. We're re-using a lot of things that are left in the house, things I've had in storage since we lost our other house.. and stuff we've gotten over the last year or so from Aaron's or my work... I'm hoping all I have to 'buy' new is a 'captian's bed' for the kid..the tile and paint..

luckily everything that needs to be done AAron already does for a living.. so we have no 'labor' costs... and add in that I lucked upon an entire brand new 8 piece kitchen cabinet set for $75 this weekend and my 're-do' just got a lot easier.. Wink

when it all starts I'll be blogging pics of it as we go... should be interesting.. LOL
