Clonazepam is used alone or in combination with other medications to control certain types of seizures. It is also used to relieve panic attacks (sudden, unexpected attacks of extreme fear and worry about these attacks). Clonazepam is in a class of medications called benzodiazepines. It works by decreasing abnormal electrical activity in the brain. It's the individual's responsibility to educate themselves. I'm on xanex and some days don't even take it. There would be no reason to be on more than one anxiety med at least on an ongoing basis. I think most of us who function on some of these things reached a level of maturity with them. It's not like they're wrong but if you don't use your head and let them dictate your entire being or consciousness, you have potentially fatal decisions. Like if you're going to have to drive, don't mix alcohol on top of opiates.
