I think that recruiting wise, it's better to tip toe;to link it as an aside from time to time in various places and to concentrate on content and something that would be of interest to you personally. The school of thought being more that if you build it they will come then to go around practically begging ppl to come to a forum. It's kind of like my first approach to a woman of interest can't be, "I want to probe your orifice at the earliest possible opportunity."
