I don't know what's scarier.. the quotes themselves, or the fact that ppl are cheering them and chomping at the bit to vote for the ppl and party who make the quotes..

Take Ohio.. in response to the Sec of State finally giving everyone the right to extended votin hours and not just the GOP as it was just days before.. this senator has this to say..

Quote
I guess I really actually feel we shouldn’t contort the voting process to accommodate the urban — read African-American — voter-turnout machine. Let’s be fair and reasonable.

of course, we should just distort the process to accommodate the GOP voters..

Giving Dems the same allotted time as the GOP to vote is of course, hinkey..

“What it really is” to many Republicans is simply an attempt to help President Barack Obama win re-election.

Dems should be given shorter voting hours, because anything else is an attempt to distort the process..

GOP number 2
His response to abortion and rape...

Quote
"First of all, from what I understand from doctors, that's really rare,"

huh.. ok.. and

Quote
"If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down," Akin continued. He did not provide an explanation for what constituted "legitimate rape."
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/08/19/missouri-republican-claims-legitimate-rape-rarely-results-in-pregnancy/?hpt=hp_t1

This isn't a new position.. back in the mid-90's another GOP'er thought and said the same thing.. hell, just a cpl months ago the GOP was deciding that rape wasn't real unless there was violence involved...

and yet, women vote GOP..

GOP # 3

Ya know, I really liked this man at one time.. hell, Are you ready for some footBawwl was guaranteed to bring a smile..  But Jr needs to stfu..

Quote
when Williams Jr. made the following claims: "We've got a Muslim president who hates farming, hates the military, hates the U.S. and we hate him!"

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/18/hank-williams-jr-obama-is-muslim-hate_n_1804184.html?utm_hp_ref=mostpopular

but why would he, when the response he gets is..

Quote
The comments were apparently met with applause and loud cheers.

awesome.. don't you love the 'division' from Obama here..

Facts are the center. We don’t pretend that certain facts are in dispute to give the appearance of fairness to people who don’t believe them.  Balance is irrelevant to me.  It doesn’t have anything to do with truth, logic or reality. ~Charlie Skinner (the Newsroom)
