I think NJ (or NY for that matter) is waaaay too entrenched in unions to allow Christie any room to fight with them. (Although I agree that perhaps some concessions can be made).

He's definitely not for the Walker ideal:

from what I understood from trms, he says all that stuff about how he's all for collective bargaining.. but the police/ff rally was that instead of banning collective bargaining.. he's just legislating their benefits out instead of bargaining with them..
