I haven't noticed that, but I see I'm not the only one to notice this..
You know, I think you may be on to something. I'm not sure.
I do know, however, when I get sick of the liberal coddling provided by MSNBC or the outlandish rightwing propaganda over at FOXNews, CNN was always a port in a storm. A place you could get somewhat fair and balanced reporting. (Of course, if the reporting conflicted with a rightwing viewer they would label them liberal and if it favored the rightwing viewpoint, the liberals would swear they are right wing. But moving on.)
For almost 2 weeks now it seems that CNN has become FOXNews Lite. I see others have been noticing this too. I bet the money trail on that would be interesting to follow.
I've noticed it also during AC 360.. and last night, it was very overt. He was trying to condemn Obama for the Libya stuff and his 'foreign affairs' reporters wouldn't do it.. she kept saying (paraphrased) "But you have to understand, the CIA doesn't piecemeal information, they don't give you something today that will be different tomorrow.. they gather everything they can and then give the president an assesment.. and those take a cpl days to get. So it's entire plausible to have 2 running stories until all the facts are in, especially in this case because we didn't have any operatives in the area.. CNN was there before the FBI, so the CIA was getting their information from tripoli and other places"
but Anderson still wanted to tag Obama for not giving out exact information the 1st few days.. and she kept on trying to says "that would have been impossible because the information was coming from so many sources and some of the lines were mixing the Egyptian mob in with the Libyian bombing, this isn't an area like NYC where we can get exact information immediately, it has to be pieced together thru many different sources and each source has to be investigated to whether ot not they are credible "
and BTW, they were talking about the person respondsible for the attack being arrested and being held in tunisia.. I don't see that anywhere today.. I actually had to do a search for it..
