"You can do SNL 3 weeks after Hurricane Sandy, but you can't give us half an hour 2 or 3 days after it wrecked ya? Turncoat!"
Drudge is a part of the party voice that needs to go bye-bye...along with Rush, Hannity, Malkin, Ingraham, and most of the Tea Party. There are no concessions or compromise. You never extend your hand across the aisle, unless it's to shake the hand of the opposition who's surrendered to your unrelenting obstinate position. And you NEVER EVER recognize anyone, who's not of the same party, with anything that seems to elicit praise, that isn't them coming around to your way of thinking. Damn heathens.
They don't get subtle nuance. There's a difference between being passionately entrenched, but understanding that some compromise will win your idea/position some legs and possible passage...and being entrenched to the point where you'll let it all burn down, just so you never budged an inch.
