so much for that whole 'libertarian'..thing..
I don't understand why the right is so hopped up on promoting the acceptance of bestiality and incest. I mean, that's all this fictional 'slippery slope' argument is.. and rallying cry for those relationships..I know red states such S.Carolina like their horse-fucks, but the rest of us? Not so much..
Look..we don't allow incest and neither would we, because the majority of incest involves abuse and coercion by parental or adult figures who take advantage of under-age children... so there are reasons to not legalize these relationships. Even if the parties are adults, there can still be a coercion there.. wanting your father's love, your mother's love and being coerced into sexual situations to get it or a unyielding familial responsibility being exploited for sexual purposes..
the argument against gay marriage is "god hates fags" and "ew it's icky".. not ever remotely the same arguments that are against incest..
and do I really need to list why bestiality is different? Ok, because dogs,sheep,horse.. cats they aren't fucking human so lets keep sex with animals illegal until 'animals' can verbally, intellectually and coherently demand to be fucked by their owners..
I'm very sick of these 'reasons' being thrown out and have resorted to turning it around with a "Why are you promoting the legality of them? Do you have a sister you want to fuck? a dog? Is there something you wish to share with the class? If not, then why are your thoughts always going to this subject matter? Is this what you dwell on when in bed with your spouse? If you would like us to legalize the sexual feelings you have for your brother, then show us where it wasn't coerced and doesn't stem from abuse in any way the way gays have had to for 50 years.. and we'll talk about it. If you can't, then do you mind not promoting these things as acceptable?"

Facts are the center. We don’t pretend that certain facts are in dispute to give the appearance of fairness to people who don’t believe them. Balance is irrelevant to me. It doesn’t have anything to do with truth, logic or reality. ~Charlie Skinner (the Newsroom)
