Yaaaa knoowwww...ya gotta wonder at some point have they just given up on the illusion?
I mean, have they reached a point where they're like, "naaaahh, who gives a shit anymore if this committee pick, this agency pick or this policy is a glaringly obvious shout out to institutionalization in Washington...fuck'em."
It seems the only reasonable thing they've done of late, regarding this, is when they went with Richard Cordray to run the CFPB. Although I'm sure that poor schmuck is about to be introduced to the unholy world of obstinate bureaucratic and agenda driven oblivion. Good luck Richard...you're gonna need it you poor bastid.
Then they cancel that little bone throw monnnnths later, with Summers as a potential pick for the Fed Chair. The same asshole that was part of the Greenspan and Rubin Ayn Rand cabal that, in large part (if not primarily), were instrumental and advocates for deregulating the fuck out of banking, that in turn brought us the Great Recession. I mean call me crazy, but this isn't a finger painting project that ended up on the floor by accident...this jerkoff played a part in damn near collapsing THE WORLD financially/economically. So we give him a shot at overseeing the Fed? Are you fuck'in crazy???
