just read the headline and let it sink in a minute..

Ted Cruz: Harry Reid 'abusing his power' by asking for majority vote on Obamacare

wait for it.

wait.... for.... it...

...

it's now an 'abuse of power' I tell you for  the senate to have a power-grabbing majority vote..

but of course stalling the gov't by demanding a 60 vote threshold is sanity...

when did 50+1= abuse of a system based on the majority wins?

2 presidential election wins, not good enough of an answer to the question "do the ppl want this"
2 senatorial majority election wins not good enough of an answer to the question 'do the ppl want this'..
a majority-vote-win on the question of 'do we do what the ppl want'.. an abuse of power.

insanity..

I saw this the other day and was freak'in floored.  I don't know about you...but I read it twice.  The first go round was the literal mental stutter-step where my brain was trying to compute the uncomputeable that I casually scanned over and it caused the screeching brain halt.  The second go round was to confirm the illogical statement my brain was trying to process.

"it's now an 'abuse of power' I tell you for  the senate to have a power-grabbing majority vote.."...*scrreeeeeecccchhhhh*...wha?

LOL I did the same thing when I read it.. I first just scanned the headline and moved on with a pfffttt thought... but then my brain just kinda twerked and went back to it on it's own and I read it again..just to make sense of what it had seen

do these people even understand their job anymore? I mean sure Cruz is Jr. Senator... but does he really not get that 60 votes isn't how it's done.. ? that 50+1 is a fair,non-abusing-power win?

it boggles the fucking mind..
