Even as they die out, there's still a few solitary souls out there, banging the drums praying that someone hears them before the guy in the white jackets carry them off...

Davis is the subject of a film, Dreams from My Real Father, which asserts that Davis took pornographic photos of Obama’s mother, who was white, and had sex with her. Some of these photographs are included in the film, which asserts that Davis was Obama’s real father.

Obama’s book refers to “Frank” being a drinker and offering advice on various matters, including race relations and college, but makes no references to his sexual lifestyle. Obama, however, has become known as the “Gay President” because of his promotion of alternative lifestyles, including homosexuality in the military.

It wouldn't be so bad if they were outliers. 

Since the inception of this country, there has always been the fringe, the far leaning. Their influence and presence can be marked throughout our history.  So I won't say, "this is the worst it's ever been", because it's kind of hard to top the civil war, or for that matter, the disgraceful political push back against civil rights and other notable moments in our political process.

I will say, however, that in my lifetime, since my awareness and following of politics, this is the worst I've ever seen it.  It's like a collage of fuck that I couldn't have imagined from the most crazy person using scissors and random magazines.

Change is always met with resistance and that resistance is never without elements driving it, with fear, anger, misconceptions, lies and purpose (usually righteous).
