"Lied" implies he intentionally misled people and I don't think he did that..

but he did fuck up by promising people something he couldn't deliver.. so he deserves 'some' wrist slapping. Definitely not the impeachment the GOP hopes to get, but a little "aww dude..damnitman!" is apropos
