I'm thinking of combining all the 2012 prez threads into News and getting rid of some unused threads.

that's probably a good idea. there are going to be so many candidates there's really no reason to give them all a sub-section.. but Sarah deserves her own place
and Jar-Jar is a local thing, so it should stay like it is for all the local stuff..
the un-used threads?
nah, leave them be.. as more and more pop up, they'll archive on their own..besises, you never know when old will be new again..
