sounds like the tpf person has been hallucinating...

although, to be fair, Catholic (the religion) and catholic (embracing a wide variety of tastes) are two different things.

So maybe capital L is the political party, small l is belief in the doctrine of free will... we all know the political party doesn't believe in free will in many cases.
