How dare Beyonce wear a black leather jacket and hat like the Black Panthers!

Quote
When Beyoncé took to the field during the Super Bowl 50 halftime show, she apparently had a political message to convey.

Clad in a black leotard with a gold embellished jacket, Beyoncé was flanked by dancers who sported afros and black berets, reportedly in reference to the Black Panther Party. Beyoncé’s outfit was also a nod to Michael Jackson.

At one point during the performance the backup dancers and Beyoncé gave a salute, and they later formed an X formation, which the Twitterverse was quick to declare was a reference to Malcom X.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Black Panther Party.

I was laughing my head off that people are so offended. IT'S ENTERTAINMENT, people. Yes, she had a political point - so what? I bet if she had been celebrating a dead white male movement they would have been thrilled.

Heard people also thought that the colored cards in the stands that were used for "believe in love" were promoting gay marriage or the gay agenda or something and apparently that offended them. People just love to be offended, don't they?

So weird.

Read a comment that "all those men patting each other on their butts on the field and you're worried about the colors in the stands?" or something like that....
