It's funny...because Mexican...and the wall. Get it? I mean it's not like it's a deeper nuanced subject than that or anything.
Of course, saying anything about it means you're an insufferable SJW without a sense of humor.
Maybe next year Latino and Hispanic American students can just put up a small standing placard in the same area with a simple note reading, "The wall was just a...suggestion."
