I go the middle kid's school around once a month or so to eat lunch with her--she loves it. The lunches are rancid. I was there on pizza day last time and I was horrified.

Check that out--those are perfectly average school lunches. The federal government is still cramming down the outdated, corn heavy food pyramid, so most school lunches contain far too many carbs and not nearly enough veg.
