I do understand but I don't understand why defense is a sacred cow that never get's brought down. There was one plane, I think the one that acts like a part helicopter, that even Cheney wanted done away with and he didn't win.
On the one hand I don't think medicare should have ever been created in the first place. However since so many people have paid into it and through no fault of their own, the continued incompetency of gov has made it unsustainable...Did something ever give the gov the right to lose SS and MC money or did they just do it all by themselves?
