Are you aware of the fact that you contradict yourself a lot?

Firstly, yes. When I said that the new deal stuff shouldn't have beens started I did mean it. However I'm not convinced that socialism is necessarily a bad thing but rather the way it has been slipped into our system with more creative terms has been detrimental. In a FooFa administration a flat tax would be implemented and the subject would never be allowed to be brought up again. The many duplicate agencies in gov would be done away with and by executive order, gov could never grow larger again. Infrastructure, Job Creation and Debt Reduction would be the priorities, not just paid lip service to. No more new weapons and planes because we have more than enough now. The constitution would be restored and the PA completely done away with as well as Gitmo. If there are aspects of the CIA that do something other than incite revolutions promoting a worse devil than those places had to begin with and fight little wars outside the constitution for the president, parts of it may be kept and ditto for the FBI with separate stipulations. Needless to say the Federal Reserve would be disbanded since it has nothing to do with the Federal Government but rather is private bankers who print money out of thin air and then create a dollar of debt for every dollar issued. The metal in nickels is worth more than 5 cents for one small example of the insanity that goes completely unchecked.

Back to healthcare. Insurance companies would be bitch slapped into a system where they can't doubly jeopardize people and the many other problems with them coming between the patient and the doctor would be legislated away once and for all. The same quality of care would be available from cradle to grave. If a person has a terminal illness and is only going to be suffering they would have the legal right to have their life ended. The oath about doctor's harming none would be restored since it's been stopped, largely without any mention. Some of the cost would be absorbed by actually eliminating the enormous waste in the present gov.

It's not that I'm anti gov period. It's that there is a revolving door from large corporations and financial institutions to appointed positions in DC regardless of the party. For one example, the regulations that used to be in place concerning media ownership of stations and print within a given area where very good for citizens. That's gone.
