It's now made it through the House. Although I'd like to say I can't believe it, I'm not the least bit surprised that these inbreds are so homophobic.

yeah, well atleast you don't have to be 'vaginally probed' when you want a medical procedure..

“Because the great majority of abortions occur during the first 12 weeks, that means most women will be forced to have a transvaginal procedure, in which a probe is inserted into the vagina, and then moved around until an ultrasound image is produced.”

they even have a 'visual aid' up showing the procedure  (that I won't post here)

I mean really? the GOP wants state-sponsored rape now? I mean, it's not enough that some poor girl gets raped by her father and 7 of his friends, but now she gets to get raped by the state as well? Just because she doesn't want to carry the fetus she was forcibly impregnated with?

or hell, why should a women who accidentally got pregnant have to be raped by the state to get a legal medical procedure..?

and not a word on this from the righty on the board...

figures... he's male, white and hetero.. what does he care about any of it. He'll vote *R* no matter what they want to pass..

Oh and if you think they don't know what they are sponsoring? think again..

Simply put, it is difficult to distinguish a law requiring women to be vaginally penetrated by a long metal object from state-sponsored rape. Worse, discussions among lawmakers leave little doubt that its supporters understood just what they were trying to write into law — they just didn’t care. As an unnamed lawmaker told a fellow Virginia delegate, a woman already consented to being “vaginally penetrated when they got pregnant.”

Thank you Republicans, the party of less government..

bullshit!

Facts are the center. We don’t pretend that certain facts are in dispute to give the appearance of fairness to people who don’t believe them.  Balance is irrelevant to me.  It doesn’t have anything to do with truth, logic or reality. ~Charlie Skinner (the Newsroom)
