I knew the story of Michelle Bachmann and her bunch of 'foster children' would be deserving of attention. But this is scary - and I gotta admit - quite the profitable venture.

23 kids nobody knows anything about? All young women with psychiatric disorders receiving care through Medicaid. Looking even further, her husband is a therapist raking in big bucks treating young women with psychological problems, raking in 137k for "treating" the kids?

Over and above the $585 - 699 per kid PER MONTH (plus expenses) paid to her by the state?

23 kids...anyone got a calculator?

But she wants to get rid of Medicaid? She wants to get rid of government regulation of her cash cow?
 
Could it be tied in with her other proposal to rape our schools of federal funds and funnel that money into non-regulated (evangelical) home schooling?

I saw one piece on her about claiming to have not profited from the kids and maybe slightly indirectly but they definitely made bank from that gaggle.

I had read something a few weeks ago  that the 23 number is made up by her. The records that are available show like 7 kids in total.. but since it's from a private foster parenting group, they don't have any records to prove or disprove any number

I'd like to see that link. I do know she's got her own kids too. Maybe that was about tthem?
