I watched a good portion of the snooze coverage of the Iowa Caucus nee' bribefest today (and really, Uncle Herman, the best you could do was free pizza?) and can attedst to the fact that this bunch is the biggest bunch of fucking loons ever put together since the days of Nurse Ratchett.

And that doesn't include Fairy Perry!

yep..

and it's too bad they brought Ron Paul down with them... I have always liked the old koot. He's got some pretty outstanding ideas that even liberals can get behind.. but, this time around he sold out and  went 'right-wing'

Quote
Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul began his speech in Ames, Iowa on Saturday by railing against abortion.

"There is something that precedes liberty, and that is life," the Texas congressman said. "I believe in a very limited role for the government, but the prime reason that government exists in a free society is to protect liberty and also to protect life, and I mean all life

That's right Ron, you want your limited gov't to allow people to do the drugs they want at their own risk.. but that same gov't to decide and police  what the patient and her doctor should be deciding..

shame..

Quote
"If we are to defend liberty and allow people to spend money as they want, to go to the church they want and run their lives as they please, you have to understand where that liberty, and where that life comes from. It does not come from the government, it comes from our creator."

yep, if we are to allow all that.. then we must stop women from living their medical lives the way they want and make them live the lives the gov't and a few old men decide they should live..

shame shame..

Facts are the center. We don’t pretend that certain facts are in dispute to give the appearance of fairness to people who don’t believe them.  Balance is irrelevant to me.  It doesn’t have anything to do with truth, logic or reality. ~Charlie Skinner (the Newsroom)
