I always felt Fox news and the Rest of the field that would seemingly be "for" RP, not so subtlety diss him because he actually means what he says.  He believes it with his heart and soul, he and his ideology are one in the same...and that can't be manipulated by lobbyists, special interests, the war machine or the rich.

They want a candidate they know is actually bendable, malleable, and most of all ultimately compliant to the people behind the curtain.

I think in another post, somewhere, I recalled him getting treated on FOX like a crayon eater back during the 2006-2007 RP "original" Tea Party movement.  Not that I was, or am now, a fan of the total messaging...but the treatment and slights were obvious, even back then.

He's to old now.  I don't want another Ronny in there.  The Job is to demanding and isn't forgiving for any reasons.

I've always viewed Libertarianism and Utopia pretty much being close in dynamic.  Both require the absolute, unfettered reality of a perfect world where laws and regulations aren't needed...because the citizens always conduct themselves in the best possible manner...devoid of greed, envy, or hurtful intent.

Shangri-la can't exist, because "human beings" won't allow it.

Paul saddened me recently with his jump on the Abortion train.  Even he isn't immune.
