Newt wants to arrest all "radical" (i.e non conservative) judges.
I honestly believe Newt does not want to be president. There is no money to be made as president, so I think he is trying to throw the election. He will make much more losing the election, selling books and helping Fannie Mae.  The big problem is the extreme part of the GOP eats this shit up.
Next up for Newt, forging his birth certificate.

We are witnessing the Republican party falling apart at the feet of their own shattered sanity.

The "extreme part" of the GOP did a big backstep on this.  The polls for him started dropping immediately after that statement.  Newt can't help but sabotage himself.  I've no doubt he'll be done long before we get to Tampa.

Agreed.  Throughout the years, he seems to have this inability to reflect until, the moment has already blown up...and this was well before the *Instant News* we have today.

I'll give him one thing though, he definitely has the, "go big or go home" mentality.

he said it for those in Iowa who are pissed that those 'activist' (ie liberal) judges allowed the fags to marry..I mean, how can marriage remain so sanctified if homo's can marry each other.. sheesh, next they'll be cheating on their sick wives, divorcing them, and remarrying 3 times like a real sacred, American, hetero marriage..

anyway, he's trying to placate everyone by telling everyone what they want to hear even if those things oppose each other.. the problem is, I think he really believes in this.. and the scarier part is, many on the right believe in it also.. thankfully, many more on all sides oppose it

I love his comments on the Sunday show when he was asked if he would have these judges arrested to force them to come to congress and answer questions on their decisions.. he said "of course" he would and he'd get the justice dept to sic the marshal's on these judges..

wtf is wrong with people?

could you imagine if Obama sent the marshal's out for Roberts, Alito, Thomas and Scalia?  HA! The right would have his fucking head!

I watched some guy last night try and explain why this was a good thing.. yeah, he doesn't see any problem with these judges (ie liberals) being forced to answer questions on why they decided the way they did..

again.. wtf is wrong with people?

Facts are the center. We don’t pretend that certain facts are in dispute to give the appearance of fairness to people who don’t believe them.  Balance is irrelevant to me.  It doesn’t have anything to do with truth, logic or reality. ~Charlie Skinner (the Newsroom)
