So because of this:

Does that mean that we are never going to restore the Social Security tax? I'm puzzled about this. FICA is the sole source of Social Security funding, unless there are funds going into the Social Security fund to replace the amount not going due to the tax cut. But if that's the case, why have FICA funding at all?
