THIS is why Newt, is not (and never was) REAL Presidential material. It's not even the tons of ironic arrogance that surrounded his indignation...it was his reaction. He went for the throat, lost his cool. He does this frequently. If he's *offended* he lashes out, instead of letting his intellect and calm disarm a troublesome question. It's part of his personality, and unlike others, he seems incapable (if really pressed) to put on his smooth pants. A deficit like that, on a world stage venue where things can quickly and unexpectedly become very tense can be disastrous or even provoke a negative response, that otherwise could have been avoided.
Republicans seem very apt at rendering judgement, oft times harshly...with little to no room for circumstance or the moronic human condition/failing in tow...but point out the hypocrisy of a like situation or question a current one with them?...and you're summarily dismissed for DARING to sit in judgement of another human being, who has frailties and makes mistakes and this should not be an indictment of their character!
It always amuses me. It shouldn't...but it does.
