Indulge me.

I’ve never had to “prove” I don’t hate Obama.  But your post pretty much confirms what I thought and what I told you in my last post:  You hated Bush and just cannot, CAN NOT conceive of me not hating Obama.  Of course you don’t have a problem admitting your hate, because you’ve expressed it on multiple occasions, but I don’t think you could say the same for me.  It’s not personal (how could it be?).  But for liberals, the personal is political.
It’s cute that you think I’m your monkey though!

dance monkey dance..

I can actually 'conceive' of you not 'hating' Obama when I hated Bush,(and not personally btw, personally, he would have been a great person to hang around with..a pretty funny dorky guy IMO)..the problem is, I don't see anything but 'hate' coming from you.. Sure, you're not as insulting as some more rapid of your party..you're more 'plausible deniability' and 'backhanded' than that... but it's there in every post you make. You can't even give him any credit when it's due.. I don't remember, did you even give him credit for OBL? The Somali pirates? the hostage takers from last week?  any credit at all? or did you just ignore it, or leave off his role in it and give congrats to others?

Sounds like the basis of another wager, although it just wouldn’t be right until you’ve paid up from the last one.
How’s that coming along by the way?[

do you have a nominee yet?

didn't think so..

until you do... and it's not her, then I guess you can keep dancing...

Interestingly, that’s exactly how I feel about you guys!  How can you put the entire country at risk for your own short term political gain?  Fairly easily it seems.  I think I’ve already shown I was right about the stimulus, the recovery, and the recession.  I predicted back on the muche when we were arguing about the stimulus bill that with it our recovery will be slow and sluggish, just like Japan’s was, and for the same reasons.  I’ll be right about Obamacare too, if it stays and doesn’t get repealed.

you do get that McCain would have done the same thing.. as would/will Romney,Paul and Santorum.. why? because it's the only option.. your option, who knows what it would do.. because it's never been tested on an economy our size with the devestation we've gone through along with the rest of the world... so you can pat yourself on the back that you'd be right.. but we both know that that's like patting yourself on the back for saying 9/11 wouldn't have happened under Gore.. Sure I can make that argument and be right... too bad we can never know for sure..

Here's the rub.. people were struggling .. with and without their houses.. Lets pretend the right way may be to let them all live or die on their own.. rich and poor alike and after wards maybe we'll be stronger..  Let's pretend that while we're losing 750,000 jobs a month, we're going to let the auto industry die out as well, adding an additional couple million more people to the unemployment rolls..Let's pretend that with wall street dropping like shit threw a duck, we just let it keep falling without any invention... I've seen the world you just created... It's called Mad Max.. and it ain't pretty.... no matter who was president, not a single politician was going to let that happen.. and now, with it just starting to get better, Every one of them is going to renew UI benefits, every one of them is going to keep the food stamp eligibility rate what it is, every one of them is going to keep medicare/medicaid/ss payments and plan going..  and everyone of them will say they are going to change it,but not until 2017 or some year in the future when we're finally getting back on our feet again and can afford to start cutting.. If you don't believe that, you' haven't been paying attention enough....why? because rhetoric gets you elected and when you're there it's a whole other ball game  cutting funds and programs that will literally force millions into the streets begging for food..

Like I said, you and the GOP are only latching on to your 'principals' right now because its Obama in the office..  your only goal is to change that.. you are not going to give advice or opinions that would help him succeed.. what you'll do is, condemn his every move and then ignore all that when you're in the white house doing the same thing because at this moment in time, in order to restore this country, this is what has to be done..

don't forget, it was a member of your party who started this mess with his tax cuts that cost billions, his wars that cost billions and his medicare part d program.. again billions.. all unpaid for.. and off the books... but now, with Obama, it's on the books and you're shitting yourself.. well sorry, putting the cost iof the GWB presidency on the books isn't socialism ,Marxism  or even Kenyan secular colonialism.. it's just good fucking business..

This must be a new lefty talking point since I’ve encountered it on the other forum too; the idea that “austerity” is some sort of alternate economic theory to… what, opulence? Austerity is what you’re left with when you’ve run out of options.  Otherwise, why would anyone choose to give up their retire in their  50’s plans that the Greeks had to put it off for another decade?
The Greeks may think that they got austerity, but the Germans, who are footing the bill don’t.  What the Greeks did was too little too late.  But Greece is just the early warning sign.  It’s not the whole enchilada.  Most of the other countries in Europe are under the same stresses and the few that have not were smart and started reforming years ago.
That’s what I would like to do.  I would rather be a Germany or Sweden than a Greece or Spain.
You’re choice is clearly Greece and Spain.

blah blah.. dance monkey... all I know is that you so dearly want to compare to greece and well.. greece went the 'cutting' route and got fucked for it.. so if you want to look at them, look at that and be glad we're not doing what they did and stfu about greece  already..

You do know that the “recovery” began in the summer of 2009 don’t you?  Just a reminder that I was right.  Sluggish recovery.  So you seem to simultaneously think that the economy is great, but if we don’t keep priming the pump it will collapse… so therefore, the economy isn’t great.
I suppose I’ll have to wait until Obama’s next term to find out what his secret deficit fighting plan is huh?

Best reply ever!  It’s basically you confirming what I already statedI have principles, you have a political party.

Nothing of course. I knew you didn’t really have a theory on how Bush caused the recession. I was just smoking you out

huh...  I don't  think I've seen anyone who needs validation so badly that every other sentence is some play on "I was right" .. interesting.. wrong and sad.. but interesting

but thanks for giving Howie a new reply when you dodge questions...

"Nevermind, I knew you were lying.. I was just trying to smoke you out"

Facts are the center. We don’t pretend that certain facts are in dispute to give the appearance of fairness to people who don’t believe them.  Balance is irrelevant to me.  It doesn’t have anything to do with truth, logic or reality. ~Charlie Skinner (the Newsroom)
