Ahh...this is one for the record books (at the asylum)!

On Fox News Sunday, Mitt Romney said that President Obama campaigned saying that "he wanted to see gasoline prices go up" and that he implemented that plan once in office.

"He said that energy prices would skyrocket under his views and he selected three people to help him implement that program: the secretary of energy, the secretary of the interior, and the EPA administrator," Romney said. "And this gas-hike trio has been doing the job over the last three and a half years and gas prices are up."

Romney said that Obama has now undergone an "election-year conversion" because he has now decided that gas prices should come down.

Of course, this claim has already been refuted.

Of course, nobody on here has been able to answer my question how Obama was able to raise gas prices to nearly $4 per gallon in June, 2008.

and no one can explain how he's raising prices on the world gas market

not to mention, under Obama,we've increased our oil production... we're putting out nearly 10 mill barrels a day and only importing 8 mill more.. our production is almost at a highest level ever.. BUT, oil prices are the world market, we are still at it's mercy when it comes to pricing it..
