I think, after mulling this over, I've come to the conclusion that it's like the good child, bad child routine...in thought anyway.

Republicans took SEVERE umbrage with the accusations levied against Bush during the torture inquires and the "false war", CIA personnel leaks, that try as they might, they couldn't really talk down.  It's the stepmom, who consciously or unconsciously gives her biological child the benefit of the doubt...even when the evidence is pretty damning...but will put a foot straight up the ass of her stepson/daughter for any infraction, even the flimsy shit...President Obama.  If the bio kids gets into the shit, his bio mom can recognize the infraction but proceeds forgiving'ly...even when new dad calls out the bullshit. Reverse that to her stepson/daughter...and ya gotta rain hellfire!

The Bush admin galvanized for 8 years, through less than subtle subtext, that there were two kinds of citizens.  Those who were with him (Patriots) and those who weren't (traitors). Laugh if you want, but I saw this mentality in action. I saw it play out quite routinely.  You didn't have to imagine it, it was quite accessible.  All you had to do was question Bush. Torture, the war, Valerie Plame...and there was something, "not quite right with you."  Something...treasonous.  Of course Bush wasn't to be held accountable for one stink'in thing...but President Obama? He's responsible, FOR EVERYTHING!...regardless of how lose the connection...or no connection...GUILTY!

We've had equally contentious and heated past admins, where voters were divided...ideologies clashed, heavily...so what's different now?  Mass media baby.  The advent of something so wonderful, so futuristic...INSTANT NEWS!...it's a god damn bane.  It's everywhere.  Before people can even form an opinion...BAM...we'll tell you how this shit in your brain should be organized and responded too!  People ingest it, they feel informed like they've never been before, their spoon fed their anger, their angst, their fear, their righteous indignation.  The price is heavy.  Because most people AREN'T informed, they're manipulated...and half of these fucks can't even get out the message they've been given.  They can't think beyond the message. They can't critically analyze.  It's a bunch of fuck ups who feel empowered and they STILL can't communicate beyond their emotion...but they want to be taken seriously GOD DAMNIT!

Which brings us to this....To make matters worse, elements within the media know that manipulation, word salad, may STILL be a bit complex for many wishing to digest...so they take it DOWN to the next level...Emotion.  These fucks will *inform* you using your fears, anger, anxieties,...I guess happy is in there somewhere, but you'd have a hard god damn time finding examples.  Emotions are strong, so powerful.  Now you unleash these *emotionally informed* assholes into debate, into discourse...and they're all over the fuckin place...just like their emotions.  I'm sad, I'm scared, I'm angry, I'm SHITTING MYSELF ARRRGGGGHHH!...oh look!...A PUPPY, dressed up like Uncle Sam, AWWWWWWW.

Thank you mass media, for empowering shit eating horse cunts to "feel" like they're informed and TRUE patriots...fighting valiantly against the mongrel horde seeking the destruction of the United States.
