Mitt Romney warns NRA against an 'unrestrained' second-term Obama

Reporting from St. Louis—

Mitt Romney drew a warm reception from the National Rifle Assn. on Friday as he attacked President Obama for “employing every imaginable ruse and ploy” to restrict gun rights, which Romney pledged not to do if elected in November.

Oh sure, you mean like when he expanded them more than any other President in our history? ok sure, I can see it.. ok no.. I lost it.

Quote
Although gun control groups have complained that Obama has done little to support their cause, Romney took a page from the NRA leadership, which has been saying that the president is waiting for a second term to crack down on firearms. He warned that Obama would “remake” the Supreme Court in a second term, threatening constitutional freedoms.

“In a second term, he would be unrestrained by the demands of re-election,” Romney told a crowd estimated at 6,000 in the cavernous Edward Jones Dome. “As he told the Russian president last month when he thought no one else was listening, after a re-election he’ll have a lot more, quote, 'flexibility' to do what he wants.  I’m not exactly sure what he meant by that, but looking at his first three years, I have a very good idea.”

Referring specifically to the right to bear arms, Romney said: “If we are going to safeguard our 2nd Amendment, it is time to elect a president who will defend the rights President Obama ignores or minimizes. I will.”

what a fucking douche..

Is it that they don't have any real arguments so they have to make them up?

or

are they just that fucking crazy?

here's the link to the rest of the pander..

The hard core gun crowd is convinced he's a trojan horse.  One of his major concerns has been to make people believe he's NOT concerned...then WHAM!!!...second term...he's gonna take your glock!

There were half as many conspiracy's floating around about Clinton, as there are about Pres. Obama.  You don't understand, he's playing 11 dimensional chess at all times!  Every no is a yes and every yes is one step closer to your freedoms being subverted!

The comical part of all this is they can't bring themselves to possibly consider how truly center he is...it's an implausible thought completely road blocked by ideology and the inability to step outside of that bubble for a look see...lest they be hypnotized by EVIL!

Pres. Obama has been far less progressive than I'd like on several issues and on several other fronts he's been quite the pal to the right, and old Washington standards.  What drives them batty is that he's not a quarter of what they expected him to be politically, and on some fronts he's been quite accommodating...more accommodating than their rhetoric and fear can accept.

Can you imagine Romney as the Commander-in-Chief of the Military?  The right can't either. He mentioned the word gun ONCE, I do believe, during his entire NRA nut suck yesterday.  This is their protector? Paaalease.

oooooooooo I hadn't considered that.. and now, that's a pretty scary fucking thought.  He's just so 'odd', 'robotic' and unlikable. I can't imagine him doing anything  that has to do with being POTUS well..

except for posing for the photo op's, because he and h is family would look like the perfect American Presidential family..

but he just reminds me of a disney animatronic..and it kinda creeps me out.
