AC360's Drew Griffin has been investigating
a national charity that collected $56 million for disabled veterans. Those donations were intended for service members and their families,
but IRS documents show that very little of the money has been directly given to those the organization promised to help.
Instead, the Disabled Veterans National Foundation has spent tens of millions on marketing services. CNN spoke to the head of a local veteran aid group that
received candy, small bottles of hand sanitizer and other unnecessary items - but no funds.
Another small organization was sent hundreds of chefs coats and aprons, along with a needlepoint design pillowcase and cans of acrylic paint.CNN has tried for more than a year to speak with the president of DVNF, Precilla Landry Wilkewitz, to find out what happened to the money they raised. yeah.. a mailing list..and it's all legal.
I heard today from the president of NOW (our section).. that the new conservative push is to privatize the library system.. they've just banned a book here in the Melbourne location, a woman I work for is bringing a lawsuit with the ACLU against the library for censorship.. but the library board may have done it all intentionally because they want to hurt the system to the point where Rick Scott will allow them to be privatized..
I don't know wtf is going on in this country..but for the 1st time in my voting life, I'm advocating Christmas treeing a ballot all D..these people are fucked up insane over a black president and they will kill every piece of the country to make sure it never, ever happens again..
