Well, seems like this little radio station in Melbourne, Florida, WFLA, (you might remember it as Icee's favorite station and the one that saluted my service to the country a few years back) is aghast! at the producers of Game of Thrones.

Why?

Seems like they use a lot of mannequins on the show. Lots of old, unused, unnecessary mannequins. To make dead and dismembered bodies and such.

Turns out one of the heads used last year was that of former President Dubya.

Benioff and Weiss Release Statement: “We use a lot of prosthetic body parts on the show: heads, arms, etc. We can’t afford to have these all made from scratch, especially in scenes where we need a lot of them, so we rent them in bulk. After the scene was already shot, someone pointed out that one of the heads looked like George W. Bush. In the DVD commentary, we mentioned this, though we should not have. We meant no disrespect to the former President and apologize if anything we said or did suggested otherwise.”

I didn't see any head that looked like GWB.. one looked like Sean Bean and the other a woman.. so which is supposed to be Bush?

wish they wouldn't have said anything because no one would have ever noticed that literally, split second shot.. but now it will be used as more proof of the liberal media and HBO will have to apologize..if not outright demanded that they cancel the series..

HBO is just another liberal outlet without any class at all, I never watch their crap.

   

I canceled HBO 10-years ago. It is like watching MSNBC.

   

    I have enjoyed several miniseries from HBO, like John Adams and Rome. However, NEVER again will I ever buy another HBO miniseries on Blu-Ray (I haven't subscribed to HBO since the '90s).

   

But besides that, this is nothing unusual from the wacko Demwit libs. It's amazing that the mouth breathers are still even referencing Bush in anything. They keep saying "he's history" but they can't seem to let him go. And these fools sit back there with a straight face and say the Tea Party and Republicans/Tea Party people are the violent ones, the hateful ones. Uh huh.

the movie guys say ... 'we were told by a fan "hey, look.. it looks like gwb'.. and the world is going nuts that it is gwb and they did it on purpose..

but republicans are calling for HBO boycotts because to do this to a past POTUS is uncalled for.. but of course nil on that dumbass pastor burning Obama in effigy..

I did some reading, it was an old prop...and this was my response to a more "rabid type" on HuffPo...

"If there had been a prop of Obama's likeness lying around and used because of tight budgets...would that make all the people trying to turn this into an issue feel better? Good Lord. It wasn't a political statement, it wasn't even a statement at all...it was a bunch of props used for a scene with the only regard being, "can we use it? yes? load'em up!"

If it makes you feel better, I'll make sure to write to the producers and demand they make and use a likeness of Obama in a future scene. Does that make you feel better? Will you quit holding your breath and stop stomping your ideological feet?
