I don't know what happened.. but there are some real assholes on that place.. and some just plain fucked up individuals... BUT there are some really Awesome people as well.. thankfully, there are quite alot more cool-bies than douchebags.. but sometimes when life is throwing rocks at you, it's hard to deal with board-trolls.. and a break is needed.. a vent of steam is let off... and bourbon(or 3) is swallowed and a time of peace ensues.. now, hopefully you're one of the cool-cats from JPP.. if not, let me introduce myself.. I'm Admin here.. So let's play nice shall we?  |

I'm a little concerned; because of your comments.
You first description of some of the posters was not very flattering and then after saying that you hope I'm one of the cool cats, you go on to make sure I understand that you are Admin here.
That kind of seemed like a warning and not very cordial.

your opening post came off as trolling..Now if that is not your intent, welcome.. But if it is, you should know who will be dealing with.
we can discuss any topic you wish to discuss and in pretty much any way you want to discuss it...we have very few 'rules' in this regard..
after speaking with some of the posters on there, there just isn't anything flattering to say about them. Luckily, they are in the minority, but they are still there... or do you disagree?

She explained it simply. If your inquiry was one of honest concern or just curiosity, then welcome aboard and please excuse (and don't take personally) her Admin flexing that's on guard for trolls. A simple response of, "Nope, not here to make waves...was just wondering what happened to Howie's participation on the other board" would of been kewl.

He knows full well we don't operate by the same standard as those over there. We're able to self-moderate and weed out the trolls. As ekg said, there's a hell of a lot of great ppl there, many of whom I'm in contact with. Including conservatives. Yet, as both ekg and I saw on another forum, the inmates have taken over the asylum. It's no longer a discussion board, it's a "Let's see who can flamebait women, gays, blacks and democrats the most without being constructive". The personal insults and childish behavior have taken over reason and given the nature of the forum, it's difficult at best to control. I hope Grind comes over and visits. He wants to play the survivor thing. And I like WinterBorn and Superfreak. Can you remind him, Bijou? Oh. And Dicksee's meltdown is simply fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
