A simple response of, "Nope, not here to make waves...was just wondering what happened to Howie's participation on the other board" would of been kewl.

I could see where you might take some umbrage with her comment, but since no one knows you here, you'll excuse the powers that be if they didn't know you were a swell person from the get go.
