Hey, Unk! Thanks for joining. I know it's a little different from JPP, but it's not that hard. On top of the page, you'll find: Show unread posts since last visit. Show new replies to your posts. If you "click" on the top one, "Show unread posts since last visit", it'll show recent unread topics. We also have a very helpful "Help" function in the highlighted blue area above that should be of some help for you. Above all, if you have any questions, feel free to PM either me or "ekg" and we'll be glad to help you as soon as possible. Again...thanks for joining. You'll find that we're small, but enjoy intelligent conversation about politics and culture. No trolls, other than those that show up occasionally from JPP, and above all (I think you'll find this out soon) we don't allow multiple screen names and/or accounts. I hope that helps. And remember, you won't break anything if you just navigate your way around....  |

I tried to answer a PM, and no matter what I put in the captcha, it was denied. I tried to update my profile, which you would think they would tell me I couldn't, as opposed to letting me try, and then informing me I had to post first. Etc.

when are you getting the captcha? posting? pms? loggin? and I've look at the settings and don't see any reason why you're having issues with the PM or updating your profile.. this is odd  as to the board being harder....? It's the most generic layout around.. we've kept it like this specifically for it's "generic" and simplicity.. LOL. what browser are you using? |

Maybe I fixt it. I found where we required 5 posts before requiring a captcha, so I changed it to zero. Of course I also deleted a huge LOST thread once too.  |

I've checked and the 'disarm the captcha' is off.. I don't ever remember seeing captcha here.. so it's odd. |

Thank you. I'd say your best bet (if this board allows it) is no PM's unless you have five-ten posts. That should have the same effect on deterrence.
